All Gambling Den Locations in Ghost of Yotei

Aside from all the time players will spend completing Tales and finding collectibles, they can also try out the minigames in Ghost of Yotei. The Bamboo Shoot minigame is the same as the previous game from Sucker Punch Productions, but a new addition is the Zeni Hajiki. This is a coin game that players can find throughout the different regions inside Gambling Dens.

Winning the game should not pose much of a problem, especially if players have turned on the accessibility feature, which shows the power display. The guide below lists all the locations of the gambling dens and what charms players can get there in Ghost of Yotei.

You can check out our full interactive map for Ghost of Yotei right here.

All Gambling Den Locations in Ghost of Yotei

Kutarra Gambling Den

  • Region: Yotei Grasslands

This den is located to the south of the region, directly below Lake Kuttara on the map. The first time you reach this den, you will not be able to enter it because Saito’s men are controlling it. An NPC will approach you, and this starts the Sleight of Hand (Side Tale). Completing this quest is necessary if you want to access the Gambling den here. The reward for playing Zeni Hajiki here and beating the owner twice is the Charm of Abundant Drink. The effect of this charm is:

Increases the amount of Sake you can carry by 1.

Ishikari Market

  • Region: Ishikari Plain

This is to the east of Howling Cave, near the middle of the region. To access this location, players will have to progress through the Oni’s questline, and going here will be their main objective. Once you first reach this area, you don’t need to continue the main story; you can explore and interact with all the NPCs, and the Gambling den will be open. There is also no charm reward here.

Oni's Breath Inn

  • Region: Ishikari Plain

When you first reach the Oni’s Breath Inn, which is northeast of Ishikari Fork, you will find the whole area filled with the Oni’s men. They will be occupying the Inn, and you will get a Side Tale where you must go inside, answer all the riddles while drinking Sake, and deal with them after. After the Inn is clear of all the enemies, the Zeni Hajiki game will be accessible. Beating the NPC twice in this game will get you the Charm of Stolen Flame. Here is the charm’s effect:

Automatically ignite your weapon by Parrying a fire attack or Blocking a Fire Arrow. While ignited, your weapon is unblockable.

Huranui's Rest Inn

  • Region: Tokachi Range

This den is located to the east of Ohara Plains, and you do not need to do anything to access this Inn. You will have to go up northeast of the Yotei Grasslands region to access the Tokachi Range, but there aren’t any quests that will halt your progress. The charm reward for this Gambling Den is the Charm of Resourceful Protection. The charm’s effect is:

Blocking an Arrow has a chance to add it to your inventory.

Red Crane Inn

  • Region: Teshio Ridge

For the Red Crane Inn, players will have to follow the Kitsune questline. This takes the player from Tokachi Range to Nayaro Wilds, then Teshio Ridge, where players have to get used to the cold damage. One of your objectives during this questline will be to visit the Red Crane Inn west of Sakura Woods, but when visiting it, the area will be under the Matsumae Clan, so you will not be able to gamble freely until you complete more sub-chapters for the Kitsune questline. The charm reward for beating the NPC here is the Charm of Fatal Silence. The effect of the charm is:

Arrows are silent on impact.

Bifuka Sake House

  • Region: Teshio Ridge

The Bifuka Sake House is to the northeast of the Red Crane Inn and can be accessed after reaching the region. The charm players can get here is the Charm of Quick Retrieval, and its effect is:

When you Disarm an enemy, immediately pick up their dropped weapon.

Benten Port

  • Region: Oshima Coast

Benten Port is accessible during the Saito brothers’ questline. This questline takes you to the Oshima Coast region, where you will have to complete a few main story quests, after which you can explore Benten Port, where the gambling den is located on the upper floor. Beat the NPC twice to get the Charm of Fiery Rage, which has this effect:

Increase the duration of Oni’s Flame by an amount.
